Welcome to our Ponte de Lima holiday rental, a cozy and traditional house designed for slow days and relaxed stays. Located in one of Portugal’s oldest villages, just steps from the Lima River, it’s a place where you can unwind, explore, and experience the quiet charm of the north.
Our home and bed & breakfast welcomes guests from all four corners of the world, especially pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
We are easily accessible, with the nearest airports in Porto and Vigo. You can reach us in about 55 minutes from Porto and around one hour from Vigo.
Known as “the oldest village in Portugal,” Ponte de Lima takes its name from the ancient Roman Bridge of Ponte de Lima that crosses the river and defines the town’s identity.
We offer an adults-only retreat with a half-board experience, where a light dinner and breakfast are included in your stay. Our home features both shared and private rooms, with access to private or shared bathrooms.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities, including hiking, cycling, horse riding, kayaking, and golf
Truth to be told, before coming to Portugal back in the summer of 2022, we never heard or knew nothing about The Camino de Santiago.
Several times along our trip we would encounter travelers carrying their (what it looked to us) very heavy backpacks, lots of them walking with the aid of a cane and if you looked carefully you could see some sort of a shell hanging from a pocket in the backpack.
